Stallone’s son Sage dies of overdose
The Rocky superstar Sylvester Stallone’s eldest son, Sage Stallone was found dead in his LA home in July. He was only 36-years old at the time of his death. No foul play was suspected and many prescription bottles were recovered from the scene.
The autopsy report stated that Sage’s untimely death was caused by a form of heart disease. It is known as atherosclerotic coronary artery disease. This was confirmed by both the Chief Coroner Investigator and also, the Chief of Operations of LA.
The funeral was strictly family-only. Sage was the son of Sylvester and his first wife, Sasha Czack.
Sage was a young actor and a filmmaker. His father and family members refuse to believe the suicide rumours. They insist that Sage was a person who loved life and that he would never do such a thing.
Whether Sage always had a heart problem in not publicly known, however Sylvester’s other children have been known to suffer from heart diseases. For instance, Stallone’s baby daughter had a surgery to fill a hole in her heart at only a few months old.
Sylvester put on a brave front for the media when he admitted that, although this is part of life, with the support of family and friends, he is getting through it. The actor who is now 66 years old has decided to keep himself busy with work to cope with this tragedy. He will discuss a comeback sequel of 2010’s Expendables. It was Sylvester who wrote and directed the action movie that grossed more than $270 million at the box office.
